Team Lead

In 2021, I took on a Team Lead role on a project for one of the world's largest foodtech companies, working on a platform handling millions of requests per day. A single failed request could mean a customer not receiving their food, making reliability critical. We implemented redundancy to minimize disruption and maintain service continuity during failures. I collaborated with teams worldwide and worked directly with stakeholders, developers and external partners to deliver dozens of food partner integrations, each with its own business requirements, technical challenges and delivery expectations.

Founded my first company in 2012 and began working independently in 2015, developing custom web products for clients. Managed client relationships, requirements gathering, project estimates and negotiations, translating business needs into clear technical recommendations. Built and delivered a wide range of products, primarily from the ground up, including e-commerce platforms, blogs and booking applications.

The first place where a project lasted longer than a few days, and some ran for months. Custom PHP to begin with, then WordPress, Laravel and Symfony, plus mobile apps for Android, iOS and Windows Phone. I arrived as a front-end developer and ended up tech lead.

Similar to previous work place, I was made responsible of taking PSD file and transform them into working websites. The level of websites I had to make here were a bit more complex and I started to work with JavaScript for sliders, animations and overall UI goodies. I was still cranking up about 1 website per day. This is the place I first experienced with jQuery and started to like it.

For a bit over two years, I was responsible of taking a PSD (Photoshop) file and transforming it into a working website using HTML, CSS, PHP and sometimes some JavaScript with MooTools. I handled about 1-2 projects per day, they were mostly simple pages with a landing page, about, services and contact.

Content Manager

Part-Time
Cluj-Napoca

I started out as a website maintainer, working on a PHP-Nuke platform handling mobile content: wallpapers, sounds, apps and games. I eventually migrated it to Mambo and then to Joomla. I had no real back-end knowledge at the time, so most of the work was done with add-ons and extensions, and by asking around on tech forums. I also worked on the front-end, customizing the look and feel of the website.

The Cecsy landing page: Ship to production easy, fast, above a terminal panel showing a deploy log
2026

The AI normalization caught me having to do a lot of projects much faster, and suddenly I was not the bottleneck anymore. Every new project needed a server config and a deployment setup: something you only do two or three times a year, which means you know how to do it, just not fast enough. So I automated it.

The Hexbon landing page, headed What the F*#k is my Password?
2025

After reading about the breaches at major password managers, and how much of what they store is not encrypted, I decided to build one myself, for me. It started as a local project. Then I moved it online so I could reach it privately from any device, and when people started asking about it, I made it public and free.

The Zulpez home screen, Five ways to play, with its game modes laid out over a purple night scene
2024

I'm a big fan of games that make you think. I had an actual physical puzzle game where you had to sort the pieces yourself to build the levels and see if you could solve them, which was fun and interesting but very annoying to handle. So I digitized it, added a few modes, and now anyone can have fun with it.

2023

Some of my best memories as a kid are of playing video games, and one of the best games I played with my friends was Bomberman. Every time we want to go down memory lane we try to find something similar, but apparently nobody makes those anymore. So I decided to take inspiration and make something similar myself, and put it online for anyone to play. Play against your friends or against bots. Enjoy!
